Costa Rica has a very privileged spot in the heart of Central America because it touches both the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. In Costa Rica you can travel from one coast to the other in just three hours by car. By plane it's just 45 minutes, so you could include almost any venue into a day. 
Here is a country so close to us, which gives you the chance to immerse yourself in so many natural wonders. Nature will be an inherent part of your vacation, whether you're birding for toucans on a hike or traipsing through Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve where you can get an aerial view of Costa Rica from the Sky Walk. Did you know that Costa Rica has four species of monkeys? Well, Costa Rica has the howler, spider, capuchin and squirrel monkeys--good to know for Trivial Pursuits.
